Sphynx cat

This breed is also known as the Canadian Hairless, because it appeared for the first time in Canada. It is, without a doubt, the most unusual breed that exists.  It is the only variety without hair.

Traits
It is a medium size, muscular cat with a well-fed, never fat look.  Its tail is long and, in the shape of a whip, it thins from the base to the end. It has very large ears and a goblin face. Its skin, often wrinkled, has a warm and soft touch, similar to suede.  It is not a totally naked cat; it has a very short coat that is very difficult to see and almost impossible to feel.

Although the Sphynx has almost no fur, it comes with different colors and markings: where the hair would have been white, the skin is pink, and where it would have been black, the skin is dark gray.

Character
The Sphynx is social and affectionate.  It prefers peace and quiet.

Care
For the well being of the cat, cold climates are not recommended.  It needs a warm environment since it lacks fur.  The cat's coat should be cleaned with a soft cloth.
