Devon Rex cat

It is a breed that arose from a curly hair mutation occurring in Devon in 1960. Different from the Sphynx, the Devon Rex has rexed (fuzzy) fur, with a similar feeling to peach fuzz.

Traits
The Devon Rex's body is similar to a Siamese - thin, light but muscular, with an arched back.  The legs are long and thin and the hind legs are higher than the front ones. The head is triangular.  It is like a wedge that, from the front, forms three marked curves: the outside edge of the ears, the cheekbones and the whisker pads.

The tail is long and thin with curly hair. This breed's coat is fine and silky but curled.

Character
It is a noble, affectionate, playful, sensitive, calm, independent and intelligent cat.  And, contrary to what you might think, it is not a delicate breed; it adapts perfectly to apartments, houses or gardens.

Care
The main attention you should give this cat is to the coat.  You should sporadically pass a flannel glove through its fur to keep it shiny. You should also bathe it regularly with baby shampoo or a natural oil base shampoo to avoid the accumulation of grease in the fur.
